Week Four

Me and mom after my first bath.

Me during my bath.

Well, hello there...

Me and Dad swinging on the hammock.

Lola loves to lick my fingers and toes.

This week I have started cooing to mom and dad. I smile a lot as well, but don't realize it. Lola continues to lick my feet while I am being held and I'm getting pretty used to it. I have gone outside a few times with dad and hung out in the shade. I love the swinging in the hammock. I also had my first bath, which I was not the biggest fan of. This week I went to the doctor's office and met with the nurse. Now I weigh 10 pounds, 9 1/2 ounces and am 22 3/4 inches long.

Week Three

zzzzzzz.....

I'm such a happy baby.

I have got to spend time this week just with mom and dad since Grandma and Grandpa left. Every couple hours I have been eating during the day and have slept for 6 hours at a time during the night a couple times this week. We went to church on Sunday and I got to meet some of mom and dad's friends. People have been coming to our house bringing dinner for mom and dad. We went for our first walk as a family - me, mom, dad and Lola. Dad is finishing up his last week of school and is quite excited for summer. I'm getting pretty strong, holding my head up on my own at times and looking around, starting to focus in on things.

Week Two

Me with Uncle Steve.

This week Grandma and Grandpa Vanderzee flew out from Seattle to visit. They were so much help. Mom is still healing from her surgery so I hung out with her a lot on the couch. Uncle Steve and Aunt Kim also came out to visit. I was able to meet my Great Grandma Vanderzee as well. This week I had my first sponge bath (which I slept all the way through). My umbilical cord stump fell off this week as well, right before Grandma and Grandpa went back to Washington.

Week One

Me and mom.

Here I am with Grandpa.

Me and Uncle Jon.

We are now adjusting to being at home. Grandma and Grandpa Stebila stayed with us this week to help out. Uncle Jon came over alot to hang out as well. I had my first appointment with the doctor. The doctor says I'm doing well. I now weigh 8 pounds, 11 ounces. We will have another appointment with the nurse in 2 weeks. A few days after we got home I was able to lift my head about 6 inches off the ground during tummy time. I am also getting to know Lola. Sometimes during tummy time, she comes and snuggles up close to me. I think we will become best friends one day.
